Happy Holidays!

Long gone are the days in which "Merry Christmas" was the expected thing to say/hear! Now, the "politically-correctedness" of whatever we dare say has settled in, and it is no longer considered appropriate to say "Merry Christmass" because you could be leaving out a lot of people who do not celebrate Christmas for whichever reason! (Check the ad campaigns of all the big stores on the web!-gret topic to discuss with our students from a critical perspective as well!)

But, living in Chiclayo things area bit easier Holiday-wise, so we can still say Merry Christmas from the bottom of our hearts (or from the tip of it) to colleagues, students, parents, and other members of our commnity without being considered improper.

So here it goes: Merry Christmas to all of us ELTeachers in Chiclayo, and our famlies. I sincerely hope 2009 will be a year of goals met and dreams fulfilled.

With my very best wishes for you and your keen this Holidays,

Nella
